Recipe: Lazy Man Corn on the Cob

When I am lazy, I am LAZY! Getting up to walk 5 feet to the kitchen is torturous. Any sort of actual effort in my state of laziness, is a daunting and drawn out process. So, I was in one of these extremely lazy moods the other day and decided to try out, what I refer to as, “Lazy Man Corn”.

I had never tried this before and had no idea how long it took.  I suppose I could have googled it, but my phone was in my bedroom on the other side of the house and well, that was just too far to walk. So, I decided I would do 30 seconds at a time.  Each time I would unshuck just enough to be able to check to see if the corn was done.  It took me exactly 3 minutes and 30 seconds to cook my ear of corn.  When I took it out, it was hot! I had to let it sit for a few minutes.

Once it was cool enough, I shucked my corn, buttered it up and added a pinch of salt.  AND let me tell you it was the BEST! It was super quick, I didn’t dirty any dishes(I used a  paper plate) and was able to quickly satisfy my craving and return to my lazy state.

So, next time you feel like some corn without the hassle give this a try! Enjoy!
